John Ayers has been engaged in teaching and academic research for over three decades at the University of Connecticut, where he is a University Teaching Fellow. He earned the BSEE from the University of Maine in 1984 and the MSEE and PhDEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1987 and 1990, respectively.
