Bioanalytical applications in nanopores are an exciting field of research which have seen rapid development over the last ten plus years. Joshua Edel is Senior Lecturer in Micro and Nanotechnology at Imperial College London. His research areas include nanofluidic devices for analytical and bioanalytical application, single molecule biophysics, ultra-high sensitivity optical detection and microdroplets and microfluidics. Tim Albrecht is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London.
