Gudela Grote is a professor of work and organizational psychology at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics at ETH Zürich. She received her PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. Her special research interest is the increasing flexibility and virtuality of work and its consequences for the individual and organizational management of uncertainty. Her work has been widely published in outlets such as Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Safety Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Academy of Management Review. She is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and member of the Swiss National Research Council.Mark A. Griffin is John Curtin Distinguished Professor and the director of the Future of Work Institute at Curtin University, Western Australia. His research examines the link between individual and organizational capability in areas such as safety, leadership, well-being, andproductivity. He has conducted large-scale collaborative projects with a range of industries including transport, health, education, energy, mining, and finance. His work has been published in outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Review, and Safety Science. He is a Fellow of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of Social Sciences Australia.
