Drawing on Shu-mei Shi, Epeli Hau'ofa, Ambelin Kwaymullina, and Glissant once again (amongst others), Moore's book closes by emphasising signifiers of open and mobile comparison and not ones of direct point for point correspondence, manoeuvring through productive modes of replication such as the image of the archipelago. In undertaking this passage through oceans and islands, mirroring worlds that mirror moreso in turn, The Literary Mirroring of Aboriginal Australia and the Caribbean takes its reader on an active and open journey.
