Brad Congdon is a lecturer in the English Department at the University of Saskatchewan, located on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. He's the author of Leading with the Chin: Writing American Masculinities in Esquire, 1960–1989, winner of the 2018 Robert K. Martin book prize. Jason Haslam is McCulloch Professor of English at Dalhousie University, located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq. His most recent work includes The Broadview Anthology of Science Fiction and articles on SF and related genres in such journals as African American Review, ARIEL, and Science Fiction Studies.
