Glòria Durà-Vilà is a multi-award-winning consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist, prolific author and academic, autistic advocate, and a renowned international expert in the field of Autism. She works in private practice (psychiatryinlondon.co.uk) and in the Surrey and Borders NHS Trust where she is Medical Lead for ASD. Her passion for communicating the Autism diagnosis to children in a personalised way, one that captures their strengths and difficulties within the Autism Spectrum, is central to her writing and her academic and clinical work. Erin Yuet Kiu Chan first met Gloria in Year 12, and has been passionately illustrating the stories of Ayame, Hamako and Tadashi ever since! Now entering their second year of university, they have been involved in mural designs from The Capel Building in Dublin to local brands like Camel from Hong Kong. Who would've known that their childhood illustration dreams could come true?
