His major research and technological development interests are industrial & environmental biotechnology and energy biosciences, focusing on biomass to biofuels & chemicals, waste to wealth & energy, etc.Sang-Hyoun Kim is a full professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Yonsei University and the Yonsei Lee Youn Jae Fellow (Top 10 faculty in Yonsei University). He received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he also got his master and bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering and Chemistry, respectively.
