Studies in the Philosophy of the Scottish Enlightenment

This book, and the series in general, takes a cross-disciplinary approach to the history of philosophy, in particular using the insights provided by a study of the historical context to elucidate philosophical ideas. All the contributions to Studies in the Philosophy of the Scottish Enlightenment are original, and are unusual for approaching the history of philosophy through meticulous study of primary resources, rather than relying on second-hand accounts.
