This book is both a richly deserved tribute to Ofelia García and a text that helps develop the fast-moving and increasingly popular concept of ‘translanguaging’, with contributions by many eminent scholars. A must-read for those many scholars and students who admire not only Ofelia’s writings but also her warm and empathic personality, it makes a major contribution to the study of translanguaging.
