His research is in the area of biosensing with a prime focus on nanoplasmonic technologies (such as LSPR) and interfacial science of biosensing materials, transducers, and biorecognition layers.Preeti Thakur is Head of the Amity Centre for Nanotechnology at Amity University Gurugram, India. She has more than 22 years of teaching and research experience, focused on the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles for radar-absorbing materials, sensors, high-frequency, wastewater treatment, and agricultural applications.
