Dr. Samples holds a BS degree in Veterinary Technology, a master's degree in Public Health, and a doctoral degree in Health Sciences. She is also licensed in the state of Georgia as a Veterinary Technologist. She has authored over 30 journal articles as well as numerous textbook chapters.
