"Throughout the book, a reader is encouraged to step away from the text to think, write, or draw; to me, these opportunities will mean one reader will experience a slightly different book than another. Each chapter ends with 'Further Investigations,' which often include book recommendations, so the total time you can spend with this title is quite open-ended. It is clearly written for both mathematicians and aspiring mathematicians, as it is stripped of technical components and prerequisites. I expect that high school teachers, undergraduates, and liberal arts students would enjoy this book, along with anyone who agrees that “math is life.” I certainly appreciated the way Mathematical Meditations invited my mind to travel down various pathways of open-ended mathematical imagination."-AMS Notices
