Veeraporn Nitiprapha was born, raised and still resides in Bangkok. She is the devoted mother to a now young man and to four cats, she is a cook and gardener and as well as being a full time writer she also runs a writers workshop. She has won the SEA Writers Award twice, for The Blind Earthworm in the Labyrinth in 2016 when she was the first female to win the prestigious award.
