Juan Ignacio Pulido-Fernández (Edited By) Juan Ignacio Pulido-Fernández, PhD in Economics, is Full Professor of Applied Economics (Tourism Economics) in the Department of Economics and Head of the Laboratory of Analysis and Innovation in Tourism (LAInnTUR) at the University of Jaén (Spain). His main research interests focus on tourism economics, tourism intelligence, destination management, sustainability of tourism, tourism impacts, and social network analysis. He has published a number of articles in some of the leading international peer-reviewed journals (Tourism Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Tourism Research, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, Tourism Economics, Tourism Review, etc.) and several books, conference papers, and book chapters of well-known publishers such as Elsevier, Routledge, Edward Elgar, CABI, Emerald, Springer, etc. He has received several international research awards for his contribution to research in the field of tourism economics. And completed her postgraduate training studying Gastronomic Tourism at the Basque Culinary Center. Her main research interests focus on gastronomic tourism, tourism intelligence and cultural tourism. She is author and co-author of several scientific articles in high-impact international journals and book chapters in editorials of international prestige (Springer, Pirámide, Tirant lo Blanch, etc.).
