‘This volume offers novel perspectives to expand our understanding of the the innovation process. The chapters argue that innovation needs to help solve a wider range of economic, environmental and social challenges. To do so, requires a more wholistic and systemic concept of innovation and a better understanding of how innovation is shaped by a complex of institutional forces in society.'
