Sugar Street- The third part of the famous Naguib Mahfouz trilogy, which witnesses the largest number of transformations in the life of the family of Ahmed Abdel Gawad, in the context of a greater transformation that took place in the Egyptian society between the thirties and forties. The novel was published in 1957 and was adapted to the cinema screen in 1973 in a film directed by Hassan Al-Imam.
