‘The Handbook of Blockchain Technology is an updated and comprehensive textbook that represents the state-of-the-art of blockchain research and applications. Through its structure, the book provides breadth and depth – from blockchain at the nexus of the Metaverse and the functioning of NFT and tokenization, to the governance of DAOs, the maturity and adoption issues, and the pragmatic uses in many domains. The authors (some of them members of UNIC’s blockchain pioneer research group) cover an array of perspectives that together provide an objective view of the blockchain ecosystem. The handbook provides clarity of advanced topics and the communication of frontier research and is an engaging read for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers wanting to know about blockchain technology’s growth and impact.'
