Virve Marionneau is an associate professor at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She is also the director of the University of Helsinki Centre for Research on Addiction, Control and Governance, a commissioner on the Lancet Public Health Commission on Gambling and a member of the Gambling Harms Evaluation Committee of the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
