Professor Pagliaro is a research chemist and science methodology professor at Italy's National Research Council based in Palermo where he leads a research group collaborating with researchers of 10 countries and the new Institute for Scientific Methodology. His research interests lie at the interface of materials science, chemistry and biology. Professor Rossi is a chemistry professor at the University of Milan.
