Francisco Alonso-Almeida is Full Professor at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specializingin Applied and Historical Linguistics, particularly in English studies. He also designs and teaches courses on the history of English, pragmatics, and technical English.Begoña Bellés-Fortuño is Associate Professor at Universitat Jaume I, Spain, where she teaches specialized English to students in English Studies, Medicine, and Nursing.
