‘This Encyclopedia fills a gap and offers a valuable working tool not only to applied ethics scholars, but also to the wider academic community. The range of topics addressed is vast and covers all sectors of applied ethics, starting from the more traditional ones and ending with new and so far little explored sectors. The style of the Encyclopedia is clear, flowing and pleasant to read, without losing anything in terms of scientific in-depth analysis. The scholars involved in the work, skillfully orchestrated by Takala and Häyry, are all of high academic value.’
