PENNY STARNS is an established historian and writer who has written about many heroines of the twentieth century. She is the author of many titles for The History Press, including Blitz Families: The Children who Stayed Behind (2012), Sisters of the Somme (2016) and Odette: World War Two’s Darling Spy (2018).
