She has written over 30 picturebooks published by Annick Press, Barefoot Books, Chicken House, Scholastic, O'Brien Press and Alanna Max. Ruth Hearson has a BA and Masters degree in Visual Communication. She has illustrated and written several children's books published by Little Tiger, Orchard, DayOne and Alanna Max
