Anne Marshall is at it again!

It was the anniversary of the day her fianc, Jason, was murdered by infamous drug lord Enrique Salvatore. As Anne reels with grief, she is hit with the news that her law partner's wife, Celia, has been accused of first-degree murder. Anne has no doubt the charges are false, and she sets out to prove Celia's innocence.  

As in cases past, the ghost of Anne's father, James Marshall, is more than up to the task of helping her solve the mystery. This time, however, she finds herself receiving unwelcome but valuable help from a colorful pair of 80-year-old private detectives-Helen Jessup and Bernice Loope.

As the investigation unfolds, a handsome man from Anne's past arrives on the scene. Will Anne fall for Agent Don Reynolds's smooth Cuban charm this time around?

In an exciting climax, Anne comes face-to-face with the henchman of the man who brutally murdered her fianc. Will she be able to take on this drug lord and prove Celia's innocence? And will she finally make Salvatore pay for his crimes?
