Wooing Mr. Wickham

This collection, set in the house and working estate of Jane Austen's brother, provides the opportunity to study and savour the texts in their original setting. Austen moved to a house on the estate after being unable to write for ten years following the death of her father. With the secruity of a permanent home she was able to pick up a pen again and all her novels were written or published while she lived here. Chair of the Judges is renowned novelish Michele Roberts, who has written an introduction to the anthology.
