Women, Theory, Praxis, and Performativities

Jacqueline Couti is the Laurence H. Favrot Professor of French Studies at Rice University. Her research and teaching interests delve into the transatlantic and transnational interconnections between cultural productions from continental France and its now former colonies. Anny-Dominique Curtius is Professor of Francophone Studies at the University of Iowa, and her latest book is Suzanne Césaire. Archéologie littéraire et artistique d’une mémoire empêchée. Her interdisciplinary research addresses the rememory of slavery and racial ecologies in visual arts.
