Witness Seminars

This open access book is a detailed introduction to the witness seminar research method, for researchers working in both academic and non-academic settings. Witness Seminars critically examines the origins and application of witness seminars, before setting out a practical guide on how to plan, conduct and document them. It also reflects on the value of this method outside of its traditional homes in academia and the Global North, assessing its value for initiatives like policy thinktanks and advocacy organisations.Breaking the process down into the before, during and after of running a witness seminar, the book’s international team of authors draw on their experience of using witness seminars in innovative ways.
