Askold Melnyczuk is a professor in the MFA Program at the University of Massachusetts and the founding editor of both the literary journal AGNI and Arrowsmith Press. His novels include What Is Told, a New York Times Notable Book, and The Ambassador of the Dead, a Best Books of the Year selection by the Los Angeles Times. His most recent book is a story collection, The Man Who Would Not Bow.
