In picture book two, a man, a mosaic, a youngster, and a dog lean into each one's story early one springtime morning on the steps of an urban brownstone. When we offer to hold somebody's story, we do the loving work of bearing witness.Meggi Beth waits for dawn with her trusty dog. An older gentleman enters the scene; he needs to sit a spell and begins talking about his memories. As Meggi Beth listens, the whole world opens to her. With this new experience, a multi-generational friendship begins in the safety of her protective dog.
