Where the Truth Lies

Adapted into a major motion picture starring Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon!

From the New York Times bestselling author of Murder Your Employer comes Where the Truth Lies, a tour de force of sinister mystery, sly comedy, grand cuisine, and all-consuming desirea narcotically addictive thriller (Esquire).

Kerry OConnor, a vivacious, free-spirited young journalist known for her penetrating celebrity interviews is hell-bent on unearthing the long-buried secrets that irrevocably shaped the lives of the magnetic showbiz team of singer Vince Collins and comic Lanny Morris. Once inseparable (and seemingly insatiable), the two celebrities were driven apart by a young womans bizarre and unexplained death, in which either might have been complicit.

As the tart-tongued, eye-catching OConnor ventures deeper into this unsolved mystery, she finds herself compromisingly coiled around both men, knowing more about them than they realize and less than she might like, but increasingly fearful that she now knows far too much.

Where the Truth Lies confirms Rupert Holmess status as one of the most ingenious writers of today, a Renaissance man who has succeeded in virtually every realm of the entertainment world: music, film, TV, Broadway, and fiction. As the Los Angeles Times observed, Holmes is one of those gifted people who seem able to do anything they want with the English language.
