Hews is a first-timeauthor/illustrator of the story picture book "Where is Everyone?".Retired since 2019, he resides in New South Wales, Australia and enjoyspainting, drawing, listening to music, visiting his grandchildren in countryNSW, and reading storybooks to them. His fondest reading memory is from when hewas six years old and learning the word "inquisitive" while readingabout a possum. So, as a tribute to that author, he has intentionallyincorporated both into this storybook.
