Yahia Lababidi, Lebanese-Egyptian of Palestinian descent, is the author of twelve collections of poetry and prose. Lababidi's latest work, Palestine Wail (Daraja Press, 2024), is a lament for the ongoing genocide of Palestinians and a plea to heal our wounded world. His aphorisms and poems have gone viral and are read in classrooms, at peaceful protests and in religious services as well as at international literary festivals.Lababidi has also contributed to news outlets, and literary and cultural institutions throughout the USA, Europe and the Middle East, including Oxford University, Pearson Education, PBS NewsHour, NPR and HBO as well as ABC Radio.
