Whale House and other stories

Ranging across different ethnic communities, rich, poor, rural, urban, locals and expats, Trinidad in all its social tumult is ever present in these stories, but so too are the inner lives of the characters. Millar's is a distinctively personal voice: cool, unsentimental and empathetic with a keen sense of place and the possibility of redemption.
