Caroline Crowe spent ten years as a national newspaper journalist and section editor before taking time out to look after her three young sons. She lives in Hampshire, UK, surrounded by their ever-growing collection of children's books. She lives with her partner, children, and gang ofthree cats. Nia draws inspiration from art history, the natural world and her love of animals. She is the illustrator of A History of Art in 21 Cats.
