"The Editor of this volume has performed a commendable job of compiling a set of articles, a majority of which can be branded as excellent, into a single volume, which includes state-of-the-art theoretical results as well as some applications. The book will be useful for researchers as well as practicing professionals, not only because of its contents, but also because of the fact that it provides directions for future developments." -Journal of the Indian Institute of Science "A mathematically sound and self-contained presentation on recent advances in the highly applicable field of Gabor analysis... This book is a must for all interested in signal analysis, and, of course, in particular in Gabor analysis." -Monatschefte fur Mathematik
