Damilola S. Olawuyi is a Professor and UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha, Qatar, and director of the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development at the Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. He is an Independent Expert on the United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights and Chair of the Association of Environmental Law Lecturers in Middle East and North African Universities (ASSELLMU). Pedi Obani is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, a Research Fellow with the Earth System Governance network, and a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Future Leaders Fellow leading a multi-country study on gender inclusive climate change governance. She has held several leadership roles in the global water and human rights community, and she is currently the President of the Board of Human Right to Water (HR2W).
