Chren Byng was born in America, but soon moved to her mother's homeland, Australia, where she grew up by the beach. In her day job as a children's book publisher, Chren has published award-winning and bestselling books from many of Australia's most-loved authors and illustrators. Chren lives in Sydney with her partner and their young children.Julia Murray is an illustrator and designer living in Tamaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). Her illustrations have been applied to books, packaging, clothing and advertising for clients such as HarperCollins, Garage Project, Huffer and Westpac. Her previous experience includes working as a magazine art director in London for ten years.
