As these stories infiltrate the mind in a kaleidoscope of pop colors, the reality of the world of the dregs of humanity comes ever-clearer.These are the stories of the hated: drug addicts bathed in nuclear science, futuristic gang members, sci-fi terrorists, interspecies sex workers, and beyond. In seeing reality through a prism of science fiction we are able to better see ourselves and to cultivate understanding. Once we understand, we can empathize even with those we hate, and when we empathize we may even fall in love with the unlovable.Only with love can we transform the world.
