For over 40 years, Aardman has entertained and charmed the world, creating much-loved characters and bringing unforgettable stories to life. Peter Lord and David Sproxton began their animating partnership at school. In 1972 they registered the name Aardman Animations. After graduating, they moved to Bristol in 1976 where they produced their first professional production, creating Morph for the children’s programme 'Take Hart'.Aardman Animations has had eight Oscar nominations and has won four. I recently received this book and was very pleasantly surprised, as I was worried that it would be aimed at children, but on the rear of the book it states ages 8 to 108! The majority of the pages have lovely, large images and the paper quality is nice and thick. The images follow each individual Wallace and Gromit story which is a lovely surprise. So glad to have received this book and can't wait to get colouring.
