Laura Mae is the founder and co-owner of Maejean Vintage (@maejeanvintage). Laura embarked on her entrepreneurial journey after her urban teaching job was eliminated due to budget cuts. Initially devastated to no longer work with her beloved students, Laura saw it as an opportunity and founded Maejean Vintage in 2010. She earned her GIA Graduate Gemologist Diploma alongside her sister and business partner, Amanda. Laura is a proud mom to an energetic boy who is already taking an interest in jewelry!Amanda Jean is the Director of Jewelry Acquisition and co-owner of Maejean Vintage (@maejeanvintage). With a passion for saving old gold from being melted, Amanda specializes in fostering relationships with gold buyers across the world. She earned her business degree from Temple University and her Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America in New York City. Amanda Jean resides in a 1920s home in historical Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with her partner and their two dogs.
