“An original, engaging, and entertaining picture book from cover to cover, and one that is a truly 'kid empowering' tale of bravery and of overcoming any and all challenges no matter what. While especially and unreservedly recommended for family, daycare center, preschool, elementary school, and community library picture book collections for children ages 4-8.”—Midwest Book Review“Victor is an unforgettable protagonist, small but unshaken, practical, and compassionate … readers will also recognize the quiet bravery it takes to speak truth to power, even when that power has nose hairs the size of tree trunks … A playful story about courage, empathy, and the power of one small voice.”—Shelf Awareness"Lovely illustrations and a rollicking narrative make this a great addition to children’s picture book collections, sure to have children requesting many rereads."—School Library Journal
