Mer information
Peter R. Makgwane is currently a Full Professor at the University of South Africa (UNISA) Institute of Catalysis and Energy Solutions (ICES). He previously worked as a Principal Scientist (2011-2023) at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR, South Africa), focusing on catalysis and advanced energy materials. He is a prominent scholar in heterogeneous photocatalysis and electrocatalysis with extensive publications of articles, including six books with major publishers, Elsevier, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley, on advanced materials design and catalytic processes for sustainable energy, renewable chemicals, and environmental catalysis.Ankur Jain is Head of the Centre for Renewable Energy and Storage, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, India. His research interest focuses on developing energy storage materials with particular attention on hydrogen energy, ammonia, and anode/electrolytes material for all solid-state Li-ion batteries. Sudhagar Pitchaimuthu is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences and an Associate Director for Energy Materials and Technology at the Research Centre for Carbon Solutions (RCCS) at Heriot-Watt University, UK. His research interests lie in developing catalysts from lab to system integration for green hydrogen generation (electrochemical and photoelectrochemical) from freshwater and industrial wastewater. Bhekie B. Mamba is Executive Dean of the University of South Africa’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Florida, South Africa. His research interest is in nanotechnology, polymer chemistry, and water treatment technologies, focusing on creating sustainable solutions that will ensure that water resources are maintained and preserved for future generations.
