Betina González is an Argentinian writer, poet, and journalist. She has a doctorate in Latin American literature and is currently a professor at the University of Buenos Aires. Her fiction for adults has won numerous prestigious prizes and she was the first woman ever to win the Premio Tusquets. Vampire Girl Conquers the Night is her debut work for children. Betina lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mariana Ruiz Johnson studied fine art and the illustration of books for children. She has been published as an author and illustrator all around the world and currently lives on the outskirts of Buenos Aires with her husband and two children. When he’s not writing, he’s busy daydreaming at his day job (shhh, don’t tell his boss!). A Texas native, he now splits his time between Jersey City, New Jersey, and a small town in the western Catskills, New York.
