Camilo Andrés Navarro is Dean of Engineering at Salesiana Catholic University in Bogotá Colombia where he is in charge of the Agro, Industrial, Energies and Informatic Engineering programs. He is a Management Engineer from the Solvay Business School of Management & Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He is an industrial Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá DC Colombia, Master of Science MS Industrial Engineering Magister with emphasis in Organizational Management and Master of Social Sciences , MSS Peace Building Magister. He works as part of the Engineering Exchange for Social Justice in the University of San Diego where he supports the User Centered design class in the Shiley Marcos School of Engineering and the Social Innovation Class in the Joan Kroc Peace Studies Center. He is an active member of Engineers Without Borders Colombia, Latinoamerican representative of the Engineering Social Justice and Peace group ESJP and the group of Humanitarian Engineering from the Universidad Sergio Arboleda & The Colorado School of Mines. He has national and international experience working with vulnerable communities and most particularly with peace building communities in Colombia where he studied the success of engineering interventions to support projects within these communities.
