University Museum and the Making of Academic Heritage

Katarzyna Jagodzińska is an Art Historian, Museologist, and Heritage Practitioner. She is Associate Professor at the Institute of European Studies, Jagiellonian University, former curator of the public programme at the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, and head of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub for Central and Eastern Europe. Her research interests encompass participation and democratisation of museums, industrial re-use for museums, museums and wellbeing, and sensory aspects of heritage.Joanna Ślaga is a Cultural Studies Scholar and Museum Professional. She is Deputy Director for Research and Strategy at the Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius. She is actively involved in national museum networks and public outreach related to cultural heritage.Magdalena Banaszkiewicz is a Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Institute of Intercultural Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She is a co-founder of the Critical Heritage Studies Hub and represents the Jagiellonian University on Una Europa’s Steering Committee for Cultural Heritage
