Dr. Eugenie Nepovimova currently serving as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry at University of Hradec Kralove. Dr. Nepovimova research focuses on drug design and development, in particular anti-aging drugs, novel potential therapeutics against neurodegenerative diseases and potential prophylactics and antidotes in case of organophosphate intoxication. Dr. Nepovimova served as guest editor in international journals. Additionally, Professor Kuca holds five patents and serves as a scientific advisor to several technology companies or co-owner of few startup companies, further demonstrating his leadership and expertise in the field.Dr. Lukas Peter is a Vice-Dean for cooperation with industry at the Faculty of Material Science and Technology, Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. Dr. Peter's expertise lies in design and development of medical hardware and software like monitoring of cardiovascular system, biomechanics of cardiovascular system, signal processing in biomedicine etc. Currently under Dr. Peter's supervision his PhD students work on design and creation of a predictive model for evaluating the risk of treatment in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and design and development of a platform for reading and setting pacemaker firmware addressing for a pacemaker tester. Presently Dr. Peter is working on a project entitled Prototype - Innovative tester for automated testing of a dual-cavity external pacemaker granted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
