Ultrasonic Treatment of Water and Wastewater

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hadi Dehghani is a full professor at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), School of Public Health, Department of Environmental Health Engineering, Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran. His scientific research interests include environmental science. He is the author of various research studies published in national and international journals and conference proceedings and head of several research projects at the TUMS. He has authored 20 books, 26 book chapters and more than 270 full papers published in peer-reviewed journals. He is an editorial board member, guest editor, and reviewer in many internal and international journals and a member of several international science committees worldwide. He also has the distinction of being listed in the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists in the area of environmental sciences. He is a supervisor and advisor for many PhD and MSc theses at the TUMS. He is currently also a member of the Iranian Association of Environmental Health (IAEH) and member of the Institute for Environmental Research (IER) at the TUMS. He worked at Mewat Engineering College as an AssistantProfessor from August 1, 2012, to February 23, 2022. He has submittedhis Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He also acted asAcademic Coordinator of the Civil Engineering department from 2014to 2017. He is an editorial board member of Nature Journal - ScientificReports (IF=4.3) and a special issue editor of Springer Journal on DiscoverWater. His recent accomplishments included 15 Coursera coursecompletion certificates. LWT India and GECL awarded them the BestYoung Scientist Award (Male) for their Scientific contribution to Environmental Engineering.He has also served as an external examiner and paper setter at Integral University, Lucknow,and Dehradun Technical University since 2013. Has got his M. Tech. (Civil Engineering) in2011, and received Honors in Environmental Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.Mr. Khan was associated with the Ministry of Environment and Forest for two years asa Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in 2009-11 and also worked with UNICEF as a ResearchAssistant (RA) on the topic ofGIS mapping andWater quality parameter estimation, includingmonitoring of the Agra Region for six months in 2012. He has professional experience at DLFLaing’sRourke India Ltd as a Construction Engineer on an SEZ project in Gurgaon from2008 to 2009. He qualified for the GATE examinations in 2010. His industry activity areaswere post-contract works, reconciliation, planning, and budgeting. His one chapter aboutSBR wastewater treatment technology was recently published in Lenin Publication. He hasattended several conferences, workshops, seminars, and research projects, and has engagedin various research endeavors. He has published 03 Books with International Publishers, 55papers in SCI, and 15 in National journals. He has also published more than 10 patents inCivil Engineering and water treatment. He is also active in social welfare activities. He is theJoint Secretary of the Environmental Awareness Society, Environsense, which organizes over25 events.
