Twilight Visitor

Twilight Visitor is a very real and very contemporary geopolitical thriller, with a twist, wherein China, desperate for oil to keep its mega-structure going, invades Iran and seizes its oil fields. The international community, while shocked, does nothing, because Iran is largely embargoed by many of them, and America's campaign against the Iranian regime keeps everyone at a distance. In a matter of two days, the Chinese invasion overwhelms the nation, and in retaliation, Iran does what no one thought was possible - they fire a nuclear warhead at Beijing. Just prior to this point, a man, Mateus Cordozo is vacationing in his hometown of Afife Portugal, when a woman approaches him, and in the course of their talk, she informs him that a nuclear confrontation is imminent and that only he can stop it. Mateus rejects her outright, but the story that escalates from there, soon convinces him otherwise as the world watches on in abject horror at what seems to be imminent nuclear war.
