Craig Guyer is a professor of biological sciences at Auburn University, with special focus on herpetology, tropical ecology, and biogeography. He has authored and coauthored many scientific journal articles, and is the coauthor of Amphibians and Reptiles of La Selva, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean Slope: A Comprehensive Guide. Mark A. Bailey is the owner, director, and senior biologist with Conservation Southeast, Inc., a resource management firm specializing in native habitats and species of the southeastern United States. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Alabama Wildlife Federation and has authored many conservation strategies and plans, most notably, the Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation’s Habitat Management Guidelines for Amphibians and Reptiles of the Southeastern United States. Robert H. Mount is emeritus professor of biological sciences at Auburn University, USA, and the author of the seminal work Reptiles and Amphibians of Alabama.
