Turner's Social Work Treatment provides a very in-depth, comprehensive overview of theories used in social work practice in the U.S. Some of the strengths include adding authors that have expertise in each theory to all chapters. Furthermore, there is a detailed section of each chapter that provides readers with a guide of how to conduct assessments and interventions guided in each approach. The case examples offer readers real-world examples that are relevant and connect theory and practice.
